Development Goals - SDGs

The Sustainable Developments Goals guide the global development policies and actions to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

In 2015, the UN General Assembly in New York adopted the

2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Through this document, the UN provided a universal agenda with a set of 17 clear and quantifiable goals. This road-map aims to guide countries to eradicate extreme poverty, combat inequality, and to protect our planet, to name just a few – and this is to be achieved by 2030.
